Intro

Give Me Back My Wig is a band that has experienced a true "blues evolution" a gritty growth that epitomizes the street-level "learnin life's lessons" aspect of the blues. Established 2001 in Long Beach California as a four piece guitar band, years past and the band gained local success opening for national touring acts. In 2008 came the release of their album “Last Minute Blues” to be their first CD to receive radio play world wide.

With the obsession to reform once again, the original founding members evolved the band into its newest incarnation. Like most successful bands, from the past came a multiple line up of changes in personnel. This is a testament to the great musicians over the years that have helped keep the legacy of Give Me Back My Wig alive.

Today the band has a new line up of Los Angeles best blues musicians. Each musically accomplished in their own right is now fronted by blues singer, Danny Brown. The "Best Blues Artist" nominatee by Los Angeles Black Music Awards. Truly a combination that delivers a vibrantly riveting approach to playing the blues. Their new album

"A Hard Row To Hoe" on Knoxville Records gives sentiments of that kind of tough road that is the blues. Delivering "blues at its best".
